Career Transition

Bud Harbidge started his career in the human resources field shortly after completing his academic studies in 1975 and commenced employment with BC Ferries in 1977 where he worked for 17 years until 1994. As the Assistant General Manager, Human Resources, he was responsible for all human resource activities including: labour relations, personnel, safety, administration, security, collective bargaining and human resources strategic planning.
